And Are They Not......?

 

Hi friends,

On this heavenward pilgrimage, there are bound to be challenges, obstacles and opposition whether from fellow humans, situations and circumstances or the devil and his cohorts.

To help the Pilgrim’s trust and confidence in the Lord of the Way, a divine company was provided by the Almighty God in the form of angels. As a way of introducing this spirit beings, the Lord asked a question in the scriptures.

The book of Hebrews 1: 14 clearly says,

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

As long as you are God’s child who is deliberately and consciously seeking for His eternal abode, there is always an unseen company and help which the Lord fore- ordained in the form of angels for His children. 

These are spiritual body guards, spies and intelligence agents to protect, help, succor and defend God’s children in the face of both seen and unforeseen danger.

Peter accessed this divine company and help while been locked up in the prison. Daniel testified of this angelic deliverance while thrown into the lion’s den. The three Hebrew boys were also delivered by this same spirits while in the fiery furnace.

Father Abraham was visited by three angels while waiting for the child of promise. David was chastised by angels when he disobeyed God by doing census. Mary, Elizabeth and Joseph had angelic encounters before Jesus’ birth.

When God’s children gather together in true worship, the presence of God brings down angels who minister to the needs of people by carrying out the bidding of Jehovah God.

When the word of God is sent out through declarations and prophecies, angels go to work to ensure that the words of God are accomplished and His divine purpose fulfilled. 

In spite of all the numerous deeds of God through angels and angelic interventions, let us not forget that they are only ministering spirits and not to be worshipped or equated with God.

The ministry of angels has been and will continue to be until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray for someone, that today you will receive angelic intervention and assistance in Jesus mighty name.

Keep doing the Master’s business with hope and enthusiasm irrespective of your seemingly impossible situation until we meet at the eternal shores.
