Give God Pleasure Always!

Hi friends,

On this pilgrimage heavenward, we need to cultivate the attitude and lifestyle of worship to the Almighty God if we want to bring pleasure to the Lord as we draw closer to our eternal abode where all we will do is worship.

The book of Revelations 4:11 says,

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:

 for thou hast created all things , and for thy pleasure they are

and were created.

For us to fully grasp the meaning and purpose of our being is to focus on bringing pleasure to the one and only true God who made us and created all things for this singular reason.

It is when we understand this reason that we can live a life that is fulfilling and also bring pleasure to the mighty God of Jacob. Any attempt to do otherwise simply means we have failed in actualizing our purpose here on earth and the divine agenda of heaven.

When we fully embrace the fact that we are meant to bring pleasure to God we become more intentional in worship and praise by making our life His dwelling place.

The word pleasure means, a feeling of happy satisfaction and enjoyment.

The Lord God of this highway does not need money or any other material things but our worship with the understanding that He alone is worthy of it.

This implies that whether we live or move, work or walk, sleep or awake, do business or study. Whether we pray or praise, sing or fellowship. Give or get. Eat or drink. They must all be with the attitude of worship to our Jehovah Elohim who has done all things well.

It is with this understanding that our Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry said, 'my meat is to do the will of Him that sent me and to accomplish His purpose' (paraphrase). Is that your daily bread too?

It is with the understanding of doing His will in worship, daily submission and praise that we find our purpose here on earth and gain eternity with the Lord at last.

When we deliberately choose to worship and give pleasure to God we enjoy His divine presence and get angelic assistance even in times when we are engaged in serious battles by the devil and his cohorts.

Keep doing the Master’s business with the attitude of worship and giving pleasure to the Holy one of Israel until we meet at the eternal shores.
