In Him is our Totality

Hi friends,

As we journey closer to our eternal abode, we need to bring to our attention the need to remain in Him who is the Lord of our lives and this heavenly race.

Apostle Paul said in Acts 17: 28

In him we live, and move, and have our being,  as certain also

of your own poets have said, we are also his offspring

From the scriptures above, we can imply that Paul the Apostle was saying that his entire being, his purpose and believe was in God and outside of God he was nothing to reckon with. Is that your testimony too?

If we must make heaven our eternal reward as we sojourn here on earth, we cannot but make Jesus the focus and purpose of our existence. We must get to the point where we become intentional in choosing His will above ours and make Him our all in all.

Little wonder, the scriptures further amplifies this by saying, what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and losses his soul? To the Almighty God, a soul is worth much more than all the wealth and riches in the entire universe.

The value Jehovah Elshaddai places on every life is so much that He had to send His only begotten son to redeem mankind to Himself so that the purpose why he created man, would not be defeated because of the fall of man.

As we journey heaven ward, there is a value system we must build, we must be purposeful about God and be kingdom-minded. We must choose His will above ours. Our ultimate goal should be to please God in everything we do. Whether in words, actions, ambitions, thoughts and deeds.

It is with this in mind that Jesus our perfect example when faced between fulfilling His divine purpose and being free from the agony of death on the cross prayed this prayer in the garden of Gethsemane, Iet not my will but thine be done!

As we seek for this heavenly Jerusalem whose architect and builder is the Lord God Almighty, can make this our motto and guiding principle? Can we make our ultimate goal seeking and pleasing Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light?

This eternal home we have chosen to seek is a prepared place for a prepared people. It only depends on us to choose wisely as we take each step heavenward. May we not lose our eternal home and reward because of godless living in Jesus mighty name, amen.

Keep being and living in Christ until we meet at the eternal shores.

Your friend and fellow pilgrim in the Kingdom race,

Pastor Janet
