Hi friends,
As we
journey closer to our eternal abode, there is need to bring to our attention the necessity to stay focused on the Lord of our lives and this heavenly race because there
is great grace released as we maintain status quo.
And
with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection
of
the Lord: and great grace was upon them
all.
The above scripture brings to bear the fact that we do not
have a choice but to witness the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (which
is the hope of every believer) to our family and friends as we journey on this
pilgrimage.
What makes this eternal pilgrimage different from every other traditions of men, religion and belief is the fact that we have the hope of being resurrected even
when the believer dies in Christ.
There is no any other religious leader who can give or even
promise resurrection except our Lord Jesus Christ alone. Much more than the
resurrection we would receive at the end of time is the great grace which the
Lord of the way makes available.
When we become intentional about being witnesses of His death
and resurrection by the way we live our lives and make bold to declare this to
the world around us through our conduct, great grace is made to abound towards
us.
Grace can be defined as bringing
honour or credit to someone or some thing
The word great is used to qualify the grace in the above
scriptures indicating that the grace that heaven gives to the soul winner on
this eternal high way is notably large in size, it is huge and very magnificent
indeed!
When we choose to bear witness the testimony of our Lord
Jesus Christ in spirit and truth, the power of God accomplishes so much that
there would be maximum results as we testify.
What else could any pilgrim need to have a safe landing on
this Highway if not the grace of God? What other thing will a pilgrim need to
live a productive life than this grace? How fruitful and fulfilling the journey
becomes when great grace is released from on high.
The whole essence of the death and resurrection of Christ is for
the grace of God to be made available for us. Little wonder the Bible says that
He gives grace and gives glory.
There is an immeasurable honor and reward which Jesus gives
to every faithful pilgrim. Such honor cannot be quantified because it is so magnificent.
I pray for every pilgrim reading this that heaven will engrace your life
greatly and abundantly in Jesus name.
Keep on witnessing about our Lord Jesus Christ until we meet
at the eternal shores.
Your friend
and fellow pilgrim in the kingdom race,
Pastor Janet
