Faithful and True

Hi Friends,

 The prophet Isaiah who had understanding loudly proclaimed in Isaiah 25:1-2 saying and I will want us to follow suit  by singing ;

Oh Lord, thou art my God, I will exalt thee, I will praise thy

name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of

 old are faithfulness and truth.

The prophet did say in the above passage why He would make his boast in the Lord. He did say God's counsel are faithful and true.  What adjectives he used to qualify the counsel of Jehovah God. This implies that as we live as pilgrims here on earth, the best we can do for ourselves is to embrace the word of God as our manual for living because it will the desired harvest to us in faithfulness and truth. 

His word cannot lie and are forever true. I have seen and had men of repute lie in other to cover up a laxity rather than admit their error but that is not the counsel of God. They are sure, trustworthy and can be relied upon because of the personality behind it which is the Lord Almighty. 

God is faithful and true. He is just and perfect in all His ways. With Him there is no variableness or shadow of turning.  He gives good and perfect gifts and His counsels are one of such proofs. He is not a man to lie or the son of man to repent. He is the God faithfulness and justice.

I will appreciate if you can make this scripture your source of boasting and sing it as a song daily as we journey heavenward and move closer to our eternal abode.
