Divine Timing

When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream dreams. Psalms 126:1
At every point in time in every man’s life, there is a desire for change, for a turn around and better still the need for greater achievements. Little wonder Abraham Maslow said in his theory on hierarchy of needs that every man needs to have acheivements. For every normal man this desire will always be there as long as there is life. Too many times we feel or think that God is either coming late or too slow but God is a God of timing. Can we remember what he said in Ecclesiastes 3:1

To every thing there is a season and a time every purpose under heaven there is a time.

Time and time again man out of impatience or short- sightedness tends to miss his divine timing. He is either ahead of God or behind God’s divine timing. By the spirit of the Lord, I prophesy into your life my fellow pilgrims, you will not miss your divine timing. The captivity you have been in for so long a time, I see the God of heaven and earth turning it around for you. You will never miss your God ordained season of visitation in Jesus name.

God being a God of order and purpose has so marked it out in His calendar that at a particular time in every individual’s life you will get married, get rich, get famous, be an achiever and so on. And by the order of Heaven and earth human ability will seem to prove futile until this time is attained. Many atimes we become perturbed, impatient or even apprehensive as we begin to compare ourselves with others. Beloved, patience is a virtue let us learn to wait for God.

God is a God who made time, owns time and predicts time therefore, he is not moved by human timing. The Bible tells us a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day before our Almighty God. Little wonder the Psalmist could boldly say my times are in your hands, oh God. When last did you even hand your battles over to God to fight them? When last did you carry all your cares and anxieties to this God who can do all things?

The God of divine timing is giving you an open invitation today. He will carry all your worries, burdens, cares and anxieties. All He requires of you is to be patient with Him and follow Him as He leads. He will never lead you astray because He is the way the Truth and the life.  He knows the way through your wilderness. He knows your end from your beginning all He requires from you is to trust Him more. Fellow Pilgrims and sojourner, do you trust Him enough to wait for His divine timing?

Your friend and fellow Pilgrim,
Pastor Janet
