Hi friends,
Today I will like draw our attention back to Him who is very
foundation and author in this heavenly journey by asking this question who is
your savior?
The savior of a man will go a long way to determine what the
life of that individual will be like. A man saved by an idol will pattern his/her
life after such. A man saved by money
will live his/ her entire life looking for money and idolizing it. The man
saved by a fellow man will not just
idolize such but will allow that individual be his mentor. It was with this
understanding the writer of Hebrews in Hebrews 12:2 admonished us as such:
Looking unto Jesus the author and the
finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross
despising the shame thereof.
To drive home this understanding I have decided to share this
poem with you my fellow Pilgrim so that we do not loose focus of Him who has
called us onto himself to live godly lives that is pleasing and acceptable
before Him. It is a poem from one of my books and I know it will help us re-adjust
ourselves as we run this race together.
Who is your savior?
A savior is one who is
able to save from death
Both physical and
eternal;
Who is able to liberate
from the yoke of sin;
Able to heal from every
one of the thirty- nine human diseases;
Who is able to
transform the mind;
Able to save from
hatred and poverty;
Who makes princes and
princesses out of pauper;
Able to liberate from
every form of oppression and snare of the fowler;
And this I found in
Christ Jesus!
For He has given me
life in abundance;
With Him I have gotten
a godly heritage;
His love has turned my
doomed life into a bright and fulfilling life;
In Him I have found
love, peace and every good thing of life;
His wholeness in my
nothingness has made life worth living;
A has given me surety
for the life to come;
Jesus in my blessed
savior.
Who is your S-A-V-I-O-R?
Culled from capsules from your wholeness
Don’t forget
that we will always hold each other’s hands until we make our eternal home together.
Your fellow
Pilgrim in the kingdom Race,
Pastor
Janet.
