Hi friends,
As we journey another day closer home, I will
want to remind us that irrespective of our challenges, troubles and ups and downs
on this strait and narrow way, there are spirit beings that Heaven has
commanded to continually be at our service. The Almighty God already knows that
as a pilgrim and sojourner you will come to a point where your strength,
determination and faith might not be able to carry you on except you are
helped. To enable us know truly how much heaven has placed at our disposal on
this journey home, He told us severally through His word about these strong
spiritual beings He has commanded concerning the Christian pilgrim. Infact , He
said they are our servants!
Psalms 91: 11-12 says, ‘He
will give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all your ways. They
shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
It is the Almighty God Himself
who is the Lord of all and in His infinite mercies has given His angels charge
over you. That as you journey the way and come to your wit’s end or against a
stiff wall of both human and spiritual oppositions, call on these spiritual
servants and they will respond at your bidding. The Bible calls them
ministering spirit sent forth to minister/ serve those who are the heirs of
salvation and want to believer you are because you have a personal encounter
with the Lord.
At each point in time, for every
genuine child of God, the angels are waiting to carry out your commands. When
you get to a cross road, why not put your angels to work rather than giving up
on this journey? It not an easy road we are traveling on this pilgrimage but
there is enormous help and succor the Lord of the way has put at your disposal,
how well have you made use of them? Don’t forget that angels are your servants
and always waiting for your commandment all the time because God Himself has
given them a command concerning you that they dare not flaunt.
As a
true Pilgrim, Jesus has said you will even judge angels at the end of time.
Where your efforts and ability have failed command your angels. In the olden
times, God sent an angel who slew thousands of the Israelites at once because of
an act of disobedience. The Bible, our manual for life further says and I
paraphrase, He sent forth the angel of His presence so that in their afflictions,
he is also afflicted. It is only an unwise child who will not put the
servants his father has given him to serve him to work and unfortunately many
of us Christians have taken to that path of folly.
You cannot journey alone. Your
Lord and maker has provided all the assistance you will ever need for the this
kingdom race at your disposal. You have come a long way and you cannot give up
now. Put your angels to work. Command your divinely assigned helpers. And your
crooked path shall be straightened once again.
I still remain yours truly and
sincerely on this pilgrimage until heaven becomes our true and eternal reward.
