Behold, the Beauty!

 Hi friends,

The heavenly pilgrimage begins in earnest the very day a believer encounters Jesus at the cross.  After this encounter, the onus is now laid on the pilgrim to intentionally and consciously inculcate divine presence.

Many supposed Christians have refused the beauty and joy of dwelling in the presence of the Lord continuously because of ignorance and I trust God to enlighten our understanding .

The Psalmist says in Psalms 27:4 and I quote;

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I

may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold

the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

The scripture above is just telling us why the Psalmist chose to dwell in the house of the Lord and even seek after it because there is a beauty in God which he can only appreciate by so doing and enquiring in the temple of the Lord!

Dear friends, I cannot but admit that with the very few years I have walked with the Lord, there is a beauty about Him and is totality that is beyond human comprehension. One of such is that fact that He makes all things beautiful in His time!

Another very remarkable aspect of God’s beauty is the fact that He is beautiful for all situation. What does that imply? It does not matter how ugly your situation may look like, the Almighty God is beautiful and suitable for it.

The dwelling place of Jehovah God is so beautiful that the Prophet who caught this revelation wrote that each time another side of God faces him, a new dimension of God’s glory is revealed so much so that the angels and the 24 elders keeping shouting holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!

Isaiah, the renowned prophet of his time and in the scriptures beheld this beauty that he cried out, 'woe is me for I am undone'. In the revelation of God's glory is the unfolding of His beauty!

A song writer described God as being beautiful beyond comprehension and too marvelous for words. Another writer prayed that the beauty of Jesus be seen in him. Yet another writer wrote that when he comes into God’s presence he is happy and also glad.

I have heard so many young men say and do many things in other to woe a beautiful woman and many ladies will do just anything to look beautiful and maintain it.

What exactly is beauty? It simply means to be pleasurably to the eyes or aesthetics.  

Today, I want your attention and purpose to be drawn to the beauty of God as revealed in creation, in His mighty and wondrous works, in the supernatural workings of His spirit and in His abiding presence!

Do you really want to see the pleasurable side of God daily as you journey on this side of eternity? Choose to dwell in the presence of God daily because it is only in His presence that there is fullness of joy, at His right hand are pleasures for ever more.  

May the good Lord keep you and bless you, may He cause His face to shine upon you and give you peace until we meet at the golden city of the New Jerusalem!
