Hi friends,
The journey heaven ward becomes sweeter and more adventurous
only if we make up our minds to be part of the marriage supper of the lamb. It
is going to be a buffet for the all the raptured saints in the skies.
The book of Revelations
19:9 says something very outstanding and I quote:
And he saith unto me, write, blessed are
they which are called unto
the marriage supper of the lamb. And he saith unto
me, these are
the true sayings of God.
I was opportune to attend a wedding ceremony in my local
assembly where I met many friends I had not seen in decades. It was a two day
event but something remarkable happened on the first day which would have
hindered me but I was determined.
As I picked my little girl from school on this fateful Friday
afternoon, she complained of headache and was running temperature seriously.
Along the way she threw up and that was enough reason to forgo the wedding
ceremony but I persisted.
I told my princess of how much we are obliged to attend this
function and after praying with her, I allowed her take some rest before we
took off. To my amazement she became okay after that incidence and personally
enjoyed the occasion. Such is the pilgrimage heavenward!
More importantly is to ensure that you are part of the
marriage supper of the lamb where you will dine and wine with the Lamb of God
who is our bridegroom and head of the church for seven years.
It will be a very memorable occasion with our Lord Jesus
Christ just after the rapture of the saints. A preacher once said it is a
celebration where angels have been cooking and setting the tables for over 2000
years since the ascension of Christ.
Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people. We must do
away with hindrances, obstacles, sins and weights that does so easily beset us
so we can run with patience and perseverance this heavenly race set before us.
Heaven is real and hell is also real. Where will you spend
your eternity?
Friends and fellow pilgrims, I admonish you to consciously,
deliberately and intentional prepare for the coming of our Lord and savior of
our soul until we meet at the golden city of the New Jerusalem. Stay rapturable!
