The steadfast Love of God

 

Hi friends,

Our celebrations as we journey further will be more accomplishing as we sing this song. Join me as we celebrate the Master’s great love over humanity at this yuletide season and always.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceaseth.

His mercies never come to an end;

They are new every morning; (2X)

Great is thy faithfulness oh Lord ( 2X)

To be steadfast means resolutely or dutifully, firm and unwavering.

From here we can infer that the kind of love that Jesus has come to show unto us in that he left His heavenly glory to be born in a manger in other to identify with mankind to demonstrating this great love is resolute, firm and unwavering.

The Scriptures in the book of Psalms 136:1-26 summarizes this awesome love of Jehovah for His handwork and most especially you and me as pilgrims who have been redeemed by the precious blood of His dear son- Jesus Christ. 

Let us not get weary and lose focus of the master as we journey heavenward on this eternal highway. In this world there would be challenges, troubles and tribulation but the joy of it is that victory is sure through His steadfast love. We shall testify of how we overcame when we meet with our King.

Without mincing words if there is anything that has kept me on this pilgrimage, it is the Master’s love displayed and revealed daily as I take each step on this pilgrimage. His love is overwhelming, pure and nurturing. 

This steadfast love does not depend on you or what you have or what you have done. It is simply because He chose to express His love to you unconditionally. It is this love nature of our God that differentiates between us and other religious worshipers.

 Little wonder, our Lord Jesus Christ said, greater love hath no man than this than that a man should lays down his life for his friends.

His love for us is so great that it has translated us from the kingdom of darkness to that of His dear son. It has made us strangers to become saints and heir to God’s eternal Kingdom. This love does not cease or fail.

Let this steadfast and overwhelming love be your joy and consolation as we journey home. Someday, sometime we will see just as He is and we will become like Him if only His steadfast love becomes our guiding light.

See you at the eternal shores of the golden city in the New Jerusalem.
