The Eyes of the Lord

 Hi friends,

As the journey heavenward gets sweeter and more adventurous, there is need to remember that there is an unseen eyes up in the sky that is always running about like a telescope whose main purpose is to sight or capture those whose hearts are perfect towards God.

 2 Chronicles 16:9 says;

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from hence forth thou shalt have wars.

To be perfect means that the state of the individual’s heart has all the desirable qualities or characteristics that God desires.  It means that such a heart is as good as possible. This does not by any means that God will only help those who are perfect because we shall perfected at rapture but that the state of such heart is perfect towards God.

This scripture also amplifies this fact by saying that God searches the intents of the heart and judges all men by the state of their heart. Why the heart? Because from the heart proceeds the issues of life.  As a man thinks in his heart so is he!

 A man whose heart is perfect will intentionally and deliberately work towards living a perfect life and because Jesus is the Lord of the way He will continuously give the desired help to that perfect hearted-man who needs to attain the perfection desired by heaven.

When such perfection is attained, it attracts divine help, divine attention and divine guidance. The life of such a one becomes a platform for God to display His miraculous power and ability. The weakness of such persons challenges God to prove His divine strength.

God Almighty uses such lives to disgrace the seemingly wise since God's foolishness is wiser than the wisdom of men.  Infact, an author refers to God as the one who uses the basket to fetch water so as to disgrace the bucket. Great and awesome God!

For any pilgrim who does not set his or her heart to perfection such is doing foolishly and most likely might never experience divine peace but wars both within  and without. Wars from the devil and his cohorts.

Jesus commanded us to be perfect as our heavenly father is perfect but it is only a man whose heart is perfect towards God that can work towards perfection. May I submit to us that this perfection is not the same as some individual's who claim to be perfectionist exhibit.

The perfection that we have so emphasized here is about a holy and righteous life based on the Word of God empowered by the Holy Spirit of God. It is the one that makes God become your friend. It is the perfection that makes you say bye bye to the world and the pleasures of sin.

Friend, keep walking and aiming towards divine perfection until we meet at the eternal shores of the golden city. God bless your dear soul!
