Hi friends,
I have come to appreciate hymns so much that I sing them every now and then as i journey this kingdom highway and will appreciate if you could join your voice with mine as bring down the presence of the divine spirit of God through worship.
The hymn of the day is "Be glad in the Lord and Rejoice" authored by Servoss, M.E. Be richly and abundantly blessed as we sing;
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,
All ye that are upright in heart,
And ye that have made him your choice,
Bid sadness and sorrow depart.

2. Be glad because He is the Lord,
On earth and in heaven supreme;
He fashions and rules by His word;
The "mighty" and "strong" to redeem.
3. What though in the conflict for right.
Your enemies almost prevail!
God's armies just hid from your sight,
Are more than the foes which assail!
4. Though darkness surround you by day,
Your sky by the night be o'er -cast,
Let nothing your spirit dismay,
But trust till the danger be past.
5. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice;
His praises proclaiming in songs;
With harp, and with organ, and voice,
The loud hallelujahs prolong!
Beloved of the Lord, my heart is bubbling with great joy as I sing this song all day long.

Medical scientists have equally discovered that being happy, making merry and rejoicing actually plays a vital role in prolonging life. Therefore, it is not only scriptural to rejoice, it is also a medically established fact that rejoicing and making merry is good for the health. If you want to live long and enjoy good health all through, I encourage you that no matter what happens, be happy, make merry and always rejoice in the goodness of the Lord.
