Hi friends,
I must submit to us that your value
system plays a great role in your attitude and disposition to life’s issues as
we journey on this eternal high way. The prophet Habakkuk who was a man of
great insight and revelation made this confession and I want to echo it thus.
Habbakkuk 3:18 says;
I will yet rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
The Lord is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief
singer on my stringed instruments.
If the
above scripture is anything to go by, it is an expression made to show that a
choice had been made by the author to rejoice come what may. Whether good or
bad, ugly or beautiful, I WILL REJOICE.
Do you know what this implies? It simply means that I have made a choice
with my entire being to rejoice in the Lord. My joy is not because I have all
that I need or want. I might have even make investments that have not yielded
the desired results. I might have made and executed beautiful plans that ended
up in futility.
My life’s journey might be laden with huddles and troubles. Though the
enemy might be throwing his darts at me to make me lose focus and trust is
being betrayed. Though, supposed friends and loved ones are no anywhere to be
found. Yet will I rejoice in the Lord my God. Who comforts, strengthens,
empowers and promotes me by lifting me above the expectations of the wicked.
The joy of having the Almighty God living in my inside with his dear son
taking the lordship over my soul is simply incomparable. The privilege of
having God’s Holy Spirit dwelling with me and leading me day by day is beyond
comprehension, therefore I WILL REJOICE.
Too many times, it is as if the host of hell wants to prevail but
suddenly the Great God shows forth. His abundant, mercy that knows no bound
shows forth when men thought I am done for. How else do I appreciate JEHOVAH
OVERDO than to rejoice in the author and finisher of my faith?
His joy has always shielded my dear heart from sorrows and overwhelming
depression. His succor preserves me from the expectation of the evil men who
have waited tirelessly for my fall and shame. This is my choice over and again,
I WILL REJOICE!!
This is the choice I have made from the bottom my heart and the depth of
my soul. The physical situation cannot and will not determine my emotional
being on this kingdom Highway. I have chosen this path of joy to celebrate my
love affair with the lover of my soul because I know he will never fail or
disappoint his own elect.
In humble submission and adoration, I bow to the one true and just God. My
spiritual weapon of war has been nothing but joy. This life I live and the heaven
I pursue is all about Him who was and is, and is to come.
Beloved, there is a greater way to achieve better and more, it is to
travel on the lane of joy. This joy ensures the abiding presence of God which
brings every other provision I can ever pray or wish for.
See you on the eternal shores at the gates of the golden city!
Your friend and fellow pilgrim on the kingdom race,

Many believers today only rejoice and celebrate when things are going on fine with them but they become gloomy when things aren't going as expected. Rejoicing is an heavenly attribute which believers ought to imbibe. The same Prophet Habakkuk said in Habakkuk 3:17 "Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
ReplyDelete3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation". Rejoicing should become a regular attitude of christians as this will be a part of our daily routine when we all get to heaven. I therefore encourage every believers to always be in the attitude of rejoicing for the Bible says "Rejoice in the Lord I say rejoice"
