Hi friends,
It is imperative that as we journey heavenward we make it our habit to exalt God Almighty in all we do, think or say. To exalt simply means to elevate by praising or glorifying God.
The book of Isaiah 25:1 says:
O Lord , Thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done
wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth .
The awesome works and marvelous doings of God has earned Him praise and glory among all of His handi-works. The mystery of salvation displayed in the that old rugged cross is another reason to praise Him.
How Jehovah Saboath fights all our battles without feeble mankind even knowing is another issue entirely. How He causes His mercies and favors to avail for us day by day is worthy of commendation.
He even contends with the contenders of our lives and destinies so that we can live a victorious life. Indeed He is a great God who is greatly to be praised.
The same illnesses and challenges that came to other people and they have been dead and forgotten came to us and yet He heals us so that we can continue to fulfill His purposes for our lives and existence.
He even surmounts our mountains so that those challenges are converted to stepping stones. Indeed , He deserves to be glorified!
The expectations of the wicked concerning us He has always frustrated so that men may know that He alone is our God.
When evil men thought that we have fallen and defeated , He deliberately picks us out of the dung hill so He can confound the supposedly wise men. Hallelujah!
What can we say about the abundant blessings, benefits, promotions and prosperity with which He daily loads us with? The unsolicited helps and open heavens over all our labours. The financial blessings that has stunned our enemies and friends alike.
Forever, I will sing your praise the God of my salvation. I will shout it loud even among the Heathens that you have done me well.
As you take another step closer to our eternal home, do not forget to praise Him and exalt Him because all His counsels and expectation concerning you are faithfulness and truth.
Beloved, we shall indeed meet at the eternal shores to that golden city by His grace and me.
