Hi friends,
I still want us to encourage each other today as we follow in
the footsteps of our savior on this Kingdom Highway.
After all, the Bible enjoins us to encourage one another as
long as it is called today and let our words be seasoned as with salt.
Psalms 61:1-4 recounts the prayer of a man after God’s heart which
I believe should be the earnest desire of every Kingdom minded Pilgrim. He said
thus;
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the
end
of the earth will I cry unto thee,
when my heart is overwhelmed:
lead me to the rock that is higher
than I. For thou hast been a
shelter for me, and a strong tower
from the enemy. I will abide
in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in
the covert of thy wings. (KJV)
It is very possible that your heart
is already feeling overwhelmed by the trials and troubles of this present time
that you are almost feeling so distant away from our loving father.
I will want you to consider the
latter part of this scripture where he acknowledged God as the Rock that is
higher than him and as a shelter and strong tower. Have acknowledged God as
such?
He further went on to testified of
God’s previous workings in his life when He asked God to lead him to the Rock
higher than him. Have you asked God Almighty to lead you in every of your life’s
endeavor?
The Word of God further amplifies
that by telling us that as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the
sons of God.
Do you ask God to lead you? Do you
acknowledge that He alone has all the power and might to take you higher? Do
you trust Him enough to give Him your all in all?
Success, victory, riches,
prosperity and health are nothing but a function of God’s abundant mercy. Why not
also solicit with Him over that seemingly hopeless situation.
God is ever ready and willing to
make way for you if only you will acknowledge His strength in your weakness.
His wisdom in your folly. His help in your helplessness. His righteousness in
your filthiness and unworthiness.
He is either Lord of all or lord of
none. He has to be Lord of all and all the way for you to make it through.
God bless you and have a safe
landing on the shores of our eternal home.
Your friend and fellow Pilgrim in the
Kingdom Race.
Pastor Janet
