Stand Still II

Hi friends,

The last time we were encouraging ourselves on the need to stand still if we will see the salvation of God from heaven above. We did also establish the fact that fear must be completely eliminated if we will receive our desired miracles.

Today I will like us to move a step further since eternity is getting closer to us day by day. We will still dwell on the same Bible passage but looking closely at some other points the Holy Spirit will be pointing out to us.

Exodus 14:13 says

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and

see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today:

 for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them

 again no more forever.   (KJV)

God Almighty takes pleasure in displaying His mighty power to prove to mankind that he rules in the affairs of men. Little wonder the Holy book said emphatically That just once the Lord has spoken and twice we have heard it that power belongs to God.

How can someone speak once and it will be heard twice? It simply means that there is an echo. For there to be an echo means that the sound waves passed through vaccum. This implies that the whole of creation echoes or reflects God’s awesome power!

To see the salvation of the Lord is another way of being an eye witness to the demonstration of His awesome power. It is Jehovah’s prove of His lordship over humanity and mankind that always informs His demonstration of this power.

There is an assurance through the mouth of God’s prophet- Moses that the Egyptians/ challenges/ problems you see today, will become a walk over in the nearest future.

The oppositions in the form of Red sea or hot pursuit by the pursuers of your destinies. The lack or scarcity posing as desert which might seem to bore you on this kingdom highway will soon become history. The hardship or affliction will soon be forgotten and remembered no more.

Stand still simply means putting our absolute trust in the God of our salvation at every command of His voice. Standstill simply means to be eager / alert/ expectant in order to see His mighty acts.

Beloved pilgrim, there is a miracle around the corner for you on this Kingdom Highway if only you will stand still.
