Your greatest ally.

Hi friends,

We cannot but encourage ourselves today and every other day of our lives because it is a biblical injunction and a duty we owe one another in holding hands until we ascend the glorious height heaven has ordained for us.

We as pilgrims have a common adversary that we must overcome daily if at all we will have a safe landing on the shores of our eternal home. An adversary that is far older and experienced than anyone of us.

The only assurance we have as pilgrims and sojourners is that Jesus is our greatest ally. He has gone ahead of us to fight all our battles and that was why he said emphatically “IT IS FINISHED”

The battle enjoins in 1 Peter 5:7 “Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion roameth about seeking whom he may devour whom resist ye steadfastly”

Your adversary’s threefold ministry is to steal, kill and destroy and he will and must do by all means and at all times. This therefore places a demand on us on the need to be vigilant.

Not necessarily because we can fight him by ourselves but because we have an ally stronger than any of our adversary.  Whether seen or unseen, known or unknown. All we need to is to be at our watch tower against any approaching invader.

Little wonder the word of God further admonishes us that greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. Our ally is most powerful (Omnipotent), all knowing (Omniscience) and ever present (omnipresent).

To Him nothing is hidden, too strong or happens in His absence. He is everywhere par time doing everything for Himself and by Himself. His power and strength cannot be equaled by anything or anyone.

Dear sojourner aren’t we blessed to have this big God by our side ? he can even do much more than you expect or require of Him because He is the Almighty God. Trust Him all the way and hand over your battles to Him.

Your new name on this High way shall be called victory!

friend and fellow Pilgrim in the kingdom Race,
Pastor Janet
