Hi friends,
We need to have a proper
understanding of what life is for us to be properly equipped to live the best
of this life and make it to Heaven at last but how do we learn if we are not
taught? Who can teach us if not He who knows all about this life?
Little wonder the Bible says in
Psalm 90:12
So teach us to number our days, that we may
apply
our hearts
unto wisdom. KJV
The man whom God Almighty teaches is
learned and equipped to have the right perception and values about life and its
essence.
The man that is taught of God is a
man of wisdom and understanding. He is not unskilled in the issues of life. He
is never a novice or an amateur in this highway of holiness to an eternity with
the Lord.
The man taught of the Lord is full
of virtues and not vices. He is a man focused on his eternal destination which
is heaven.
Too many times, human beings spend
time fighting, wishing and competing to be like each other but for the man that
heaven has taught he has great peace in his God – given abilities as he trust
God to make him better.
The man taught of the Lord focuses
on God in everything and every way while the man that is not taught focuses on
the mundane things of this life. Chasing shadows as it were.
Human beings esteem life in figures and material acquisition but God Almighty places value on life by purpose its able to achieve.
Humility helps teachability. The man
who will learn what God has for him or her genuinely must have a heart of humility
(what the Bible refers to as a contrite heart and a broken spirit).
The man whom heaven will really
teach must seek the knowledge of God in all honesty and sincerity.
Life itself is a mystery and almost
every issue of life has a mystery surrounding it. It is the person taught by
the Lord of this mystery that can really achieve and attain to life in its
fullest.
Heaven is a prepared place for a
prepared people. Would you allow yourself miss eternity because you refused to
be taught of the Lord?
Stay blessed and rapturable on this
eternal trip heavenward.
Your friend and fellow pilgrim in
the Kingdom race,
Pastor Janet
