Hi friends,
As we journey this kingdom high way,
more often than not the forces of the devil – our arch enemy tends to oppose us
and the workings of God in our lives. If care is not taken at this junction,
there is a possibility that we can be derailed or lose focus.
At such times, it seems as if we are all alone
on this battle front of life but that is never true!
There is one standing by us who is ever willing to fight our battles
and earn us a resounding victory. He is called Jehovah Saboath – The man of
war. He is the Lord
God of host and the Captain of the host of Israel!
He is ever present with us
even when we are not aware. Remember how He was with the disciples in the midst
of their storms in Mark 4: He was with them yet He laid at the bottom of the
boat and was fast asleep until they woke Him up.
Beloved Pilgrim, the time
has come for you to wake the man of War from sleep. He has to arise in all His
power and wrath to fight that endless battle. It is high time you wake Him up
to calm your storms and declare peace be still.
It was with this understanding in
mind that the Psalmist shouted out this prayer from the bottom of his Heart. Psalms 68:1-3(KJV) says some very striking and important things about this Mighty
Warrior that we must take to heart as we engage these evil forces of life and
destiny on this journey that is the rough and narrow way to eternity with the
Lord.
Let God
arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that
hate him
flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them
away: as
wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish
at the presence of God. But let the righteous
be glad;
let them
rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
When the man of war arises, your
enemies who have also become His enemies must be scattered. That enemy that is stronger
than you only needs the presence of Jehovah.
No witch, no wizard, no
principality or power, no occultist or Satanist can stand at the presence of
the Lord God of Host.
When you engage God through
the Lord Jesus Christ in your life’s battles, those battles receive immediate
and permanent solutions. When the God of war rises up for you against the
enemies that are too strong for you, your victory is sure.
Men may and will judge you
wrong. But He is a God of judgment and justice. He never can and never will
judge you unfairly. Quickly and permanently hand your battles over to Him and
you will laugh again.
He will avenge you of those
your adversaries and recover back for you what you might have lost in those
times of trying to fight alone. He is your greatest ally!
Your friend and fellow pilgrim in
the Kingdom race,
Pastor Janet
