Hi friends,
Pastor E.A Adeboye led us to sing a hymn in March 1994 at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers Abuja which has left an indelible mark on my spirit man. The introduction he
gave to this hymn I have never heard it like that before and after then.
We almost sang our hearts out as we worshiped the Lord of all the earth
The introduction he gave to that hymn
went thus:-
‘Imagine you got to heaven and it is
the coronation day of our Lord Jesus Christ. And you are given the singular honor
to place the crown on your king and maker- Jesus Christ. How would you feel or
sing?
With pictorial representation in our minds we
sang wholeheartedly to our King. I want us to sing this same hymn together as
we crown Jesus Christ the Lord of all that pertains to us.
1. All hail the power of Jesus' name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown him Lord of all.
2. Ye chosen seed of Israel's race,
ye ransomed from the fall,
hail him who saves you by his grace,
and crown him Lord of all.
Hail him who saves you by his grace,
and crown him Lord of all.
3. Sinners, whose love can ne'er forget
the wormwood and the gall,
go spread your trophies at his feet,
and crown him Lord of all.
Go spread your trophies at his feet,
and crown him Lord of all.
4. Let every kindred, every tribe
on this terrestrial ball,
to him all majesty ascribe,
and crown him Lord of all.
To him all majesty ascribe,
and crown him Lord of all.
5. Crown him, ye martyrs of your God,
who from his altar call;
extol the Stem of Jesse's Rod,
and crown him Lord of all.
Extol the Stem of Jesse's Rod,
and crown him Lord of all.
6. O that with yonder sacred throng
we at his feet may fall!
We'll join the everlasting song,
and crown him Lord of all.
We'll join the everlasting song,
and crown him Lord of all.
Let angels prostrate fall;
bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
and crown him Lord of all.
2. Ye chosen seed of Israel's race,
ye ransomed from the fall,
hail him who saves you by his grace,
and crown him Lord of all.
Hail him who saves you by his grace,
and crown him Lord of all.
3. Sinners, whose love can ne'er forget
the wormwood and the gall,
go spread your trophies at his feet,
and crown him Lord of all.
Go spread your trophies at his feet,
and crown him Lord of all.
4. Let every kindred, every tribe
on this terrestrial ball,
to him all majesty ascribe,
and crown him Lord of all.
To him all majesty ascribe,
and crown him Lord of all.
5. Crown him, ye martyrs of your God,
who from his altar call;
extol the Stem of Jesse's Rod,
and crown him Lord of all.
Extol the Stem of Jesse's Rod,
and crown him Lord of all.
6. O that with yonder sacred throng
we at his feet may fall!
We'll join the everlasting song,
and crown him Lord of all.
We'll join the everlasting song,
and crown him Lord of all.
Beloved pilgrim and co-laborer, as
we worship the Almighty God in Spirit and truth, I see Him bearing us upon the
wings of the eagles as we draw closer to our eternal destination in Jesus
Mighty name, Amen.
Your Friend and fellow Pilgrim in
the Kingdom Race,
Pastor Janet
