Who is God?

Hi friends,
Today as we yet journey closer to our eternal home there is one personality of God that we contemporary Christians and Pilgrims are fast eroding away and that is the aspect of LOVE.

Too many times, Love means lust(eros) to even Christians! We live our daily lives without this very personality of God. Little wonder we journey with little or no value added to our own lives or those we encounter because Christians have turned into judges and examination officers of other pilgrims. We fault and accuse each other thinking that we are made better, forgetting that no man really rises(in the true sense of it) by pulling others down. We scrutinizing other Christians to know their areas of challenge so we can amplify it to have an "edge" over them. We have forgotten that this pilgrimage is not about us but about doing it God's way. In His book "The Final Quest" Rick Joyner says 'The only place where people kill their wounded soldier is in the Christendom"

Beloved is that true of you? If yes then you need to have a re-think and change of attitude . I John 4:8 says He that loveth not knoweth not God; For God is love.

Your spirituality is not measured by Heaven based on your religious activity or position but on the level of impact you have made upon the souls of men for eternity. Impact can never be made on any individual you do not love with God's kind of love because other kinds of love apart from AGAPE has a personal interest attached to it. Until you get to the level of paying God's kind of price over the souls of men you are yet to begin this Heaven bound journey. You know why? GOD IS LOVE!

What business do I have criticizing or blackmailing by brother or sister if I truly have the understanding that loosing that life to the devil is a deviation from my creator's ultimate desire of not willing that any should perish? Even if I think I have a position to earn or some material gains from any act of dislike I exhibit towards my fellow brother, after getting those 'benefits' in quote, what next?

The call to this Heavenly journey is a call to love without dissimulation (pretense). It is a call to sacrifice and a call to become more like the author and the finisher of our faith who for the sake of impacting you and I left His Heavenly glory to come and die in our stead. Love is expensive but rewarding. Love is sacrificial but impactful. There is no battle we fight with love that we loose. It is more effective than the latest invention of bombs and weapons of war. You can never love God's way until you really know this God.

You can climb your mountains with more ease, you can cross your rivers with peace and tread your valleys with more enthusiasm if only you will allow the love of JESUS to flood your heart and your life. The journey is too long and wearisome than to keep losing focus in the bid to dominate and play the superior over our brothers and sisters. choose to make Heaven at last, Choose to love the God way and it shall be well all the way.

Remain rapturable, remain Heaven bound and God- like. God bless you richly and bountifully!
