Self Examination

Hi friends,
The day is almost over in the part of the world where I come from. With the eyes asking for sleep and head asking to lay on the pillows while your entire system is yearning for the comfort of the bed after all, it is God your father and my father who giveth sleep to His beloveth, how much have I accomplished today?

If I sleep to rest and it becomes a sleep of death only for me to wake up on the other side of eternity, what would be Heaven's assessment of me? if my friends come looking for me tomorrow only to discover that I have transited to the other side of eternity what would they write or say about me? If I try to lift my hands and legs to continue working as I have always worked but all my body organs chose to retire, What will the cloud of witnesses say about all my previous labours.

Beloved, it is time to have a thorough self examination because the tomorrow we are planning for might never come if God says it is time up. Your time and my times are in the hands of the Almighty God. Make the best of the now as we journey home to Canaan.
