It is another new day and I will want to remind us of God's word to Abraham when He called him. God said I will bless thee and make thee great. Today I want to share a poem from Capsules for your wholeness by Janet Oluwadamisi titled 'Oh, Lord bless me!'
Each morning at cockcrow:
I rise up and work till sunset,
sowing my seeds and weeding my crops,
cultivating the soil and manuring my crops,
Irrigating the crops and making heaps;
Oh, Lord that you will bless me!
Each night at night fall:
I walk through the forest armed and protected;
Setting traps and putting in the most attractive baits,
Hiding in nearby forest waiting for a prey,
Oh,Lord that you will bless me!
Each night at night fall;
I stay sleepless till day break;Fixing my nets and casting it into the river,
Ensuring it is well hooked with the most enticing bait,
Waiting for the moving of my net for a swarm of fishes
Oh, Lord that you will bless!
Open the Heavens for each of my labours and toils;
Make me like the palm tree and the cedar of Lebanon,
Make my barn increase and also increase my harvest,
Make the earth yield her increase for me,
Only your blessings make truly rich without sorrow
Oh, Lord bless me abundantly!
Beloved Pilgrim and co- labourer, our lives will be a reflection of God's glory and abundance as we daily desire His blessings. Stay blessed and flourishing as we journey home together.
Yours in the Kingdom Race,
Pastor Janet
