Do Not Be Alone!

 

Hi friends,

As we journey heavenward, I am duty bound to remind us of the fact that we are brides waiting for the coming of the bride groom to take us home so we can ultimately consummate our love relationship with Him.

Revelations 19:9 says,

And he saith unto me, write, blessed are they which are called unto

 the marriage supper of the lamb. And he saith unto me, these are

the true sayings of God.

I was privileged to attend a wedding ceremony of a close relation and I cannot but wonder at the beauty and affluence displayed yet the simplicity of the groom when inviting us beats my imagination.

The groom had been a widower for quite some time and the bride had been single for so long but while at the verge of given up on marriage heaven smiled on them and there was a divine connection that led to this glorious celebration.

The reception was packed with the crème de la crème of the society and the peak of the event was when the couple fed each other and where called upon to do their dance. Everyone in attendance ate to their satisfaction and the beauty of the interior reminded me of the beauty of heaven whose streets are made of gold.  

Interesting enough many who were at the church service could not attend the reception either because they did not know the way or were not invited. Jesus, the way and the truth is always at the door of your heart knocking and waiting for you to let Him in so he could lead you all the way.

When the groom gave his vote of thanks he could not but show his appreciation to his late wife’s sisters who continually told him never to remain single and alone.  They took the pains of introducing him to his beautiful bride.

Have you been bereaved of one good thing or the other on this pilgrimage? Are you weeping secretly with no one to share your inner most pains with?  Have men written you off thinking there is no hope for you? Brace up beloved, there is hope in Christ.

Jesus, the bride groom of the church has been continuously and consistently wooing you to and for Himself. Do not travel the road alone because Jesus is waiting to lead you to your eternal bliss. Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people, would you allow Him lead you all the way?

Dearly beloved, you cannot afford to miss the marriage super of the lamb because that is height of the Christian pilgrimage. All your adventures, challenges and troubles are meant to prepare you as a glorious church holy and without blemish for the bride groom of your soul.

keep the faith and run the race with perseverance until we meet at the eternal shores.
