Attitude of Those Who Will Lift their Eyes to the Hills

Hi friends,

The place of prayers on this kingdom high way cannot be over-emphasized. It is the life wire of every believer and more so the one who will lift their eyes to the Lord.

Lifting your eyes to the Lord is a display of absolute trust in Jehovah God and His absolute power and ability. Prayer is the greatest weapon in the midst of life’s battle.

Prayer is the most powerful weapon in the universe, it is invisible, invincible and has no limitation. Distance is not a barrier to its potency.

The most beautiful thing about praying to the God of the Bible who is the Almighty God is that there is no hard and fast rule to praying to the Almighty.

You do not need to follow any recitation, face any particular direction or through any medium or even take any particular posture except of course in the exalted name of Jesus Christ.

All that God requires of you and I is a contrite heart and a broken spirit. Sincerity of heart and purpose. Believing God even when situations around are speaking otherwise.

Little wonder Abraham, the father of faith became a friend of God because against hope he believed in hope.

Job was restored double fold because he chose to believe God and His word all the way. He said even though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. What a great faith.

For the pilgrim who will access divine assistance you cannot but trust Him, believe in Him and wait for Him even in the midst of fearful storms of life and apprehensions.

The prophet Isaiah rightly prophesied that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Deep confidence in God’s divine ability.

Beloved friend and fellow pilgrim we have no other source of help except in this Lord of the way who has also called us to glory and honor. If you choose to faint rather than trust and wait for Him, your strength is indeed small.

Like the song writer said and I am echoing it ‘Wait, I say wait on the Lord!’

Your friend and fellow Pilgrim in the Kingdom Race,

Pastor Janet
