Hi friends,
I am so sure without
any iota of doubt that you must have come to terms with the fact that your
efforts no matter how good they are in any sphere of life does not earn you any
recognition or celebration until it translates into success.
I was once faced
with this bitter truth when a senior brother of mine answered several years
back answered me when I asked him why nobody wants to help you succeed but everybody
wants to celebrate your success? He said, ‘ because SUCCESS is a journey!’
You will also agree
with me that this journey of success is a tedious and tasking journey but I trust the Almighty God that in whatever endeavor of life you have ventured into
Jehovah God will grant you resounding success in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
As we look
at the concluding part of these series of possessing the gates of the enemy, we
will be considering a Bible passage that is related to celebrating of success.
The latter
part of Proverbs 31 talks about a celebrated woman rightly referred to as ‘The Virtuous
Woman’. These two verses we will be
considering talks about two things that we must give attention two. Proverbs
31:23,31 says:
Her husband is known in the gates, when he
sitteth among the elders of the land.…… Give her of the fruit of her hands; and
let her own works praise her in the gates. (KJV)
One note worthy fact, was the fact that her husband is known at the gates
among the elders. What does that connote – A resounding success. The second
fact was that her own works praise her at the gates. This connotes Excellence.
Looking closely at these two verses you will agree with me
that possessing the gates of your enemies is a must conquered battle and until
you do that your glory and destiny might never shine forth.
May Jehovah Sabaoth Himself teach your feeble hands to war
and your fragile fingers to battle as we continue relentlessly in this battle
of life in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
There is race you and I must run. There is a
glory that is set ahead of us. There is a victory to be won and celebrated
ahead. But this can only be by possessing the gates of our enemies!
