Clean up

Hi friends,

We thank God for the few days and hours we have been enabled by the Almighty God to spend in this New Year.

 A very close acquaintance of mine once told me a story of how the Lord dealt with her sometimes ago and I will want to share it trusting Jehovah God to give us divine understanding.

She went on thus, ‘I was just about starting off in a new year sometimes ago and as I got to my place of business, something within me said I should do a general clean up to give my premises a new look.

When I left the house that day, I never planned to come for cleaning  because I was already getting fed up since the business was not yielding much but here was I doing a clean-up and reshuffling the entire premises!'

As I kept on listening to her, the Holy Spirit ministered a scripture to my heart that I will like to share with us in today’s write up.

2 Tim 2:20-21,

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver,

but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and

some to dishonour.  If a man therefore purge himself from these,

he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the

 master's use, and prepared unto every good work.  (KJV)

As this scripture dropped in my Spirit the Lord amplified it. If as human as she is she could care so much about this small business premises, how much more does He the Almighty God care about us.

If she desired that newness because it was a New Year and God desires something newer for her, how much more does the Almighty God desire for me.

After listening to that short but powerful testimony, I discovered that I have made certain conclusions about this loving God that needs to be redressed. I asked for God’s mercy!

If this short testimony did bless my heart I know it will bless yours too. That was why I decided to share this message with you my fellow co- laborers so that we don’t give in to the devil’s gimmicks on this kingdom highway.

The Almighty God is so powerful that He takes pleasure in displaying His power so that men may learn to fear Him.

He wants to display His mightiness over your seemingly helpless situation so that He alone can take the glory. He wants to silence His enemies and the avenger so that men may know that it is only His mighty power that is at work in you with your permission.

The permission He needs is that you cleanse yourself of every filthiness of spirit, soul and body so you can be a vessel of honor.  

He has too many vessels or channels but He displays His awesome power through the vessels who will cleanse themselves so He can make them vessels of honor.

He wants you to be cleansed and sanctified so you can be prepared for every good work.

On this highway of holiness, you can only attain by daily and regular conscious spiritual check-up so your life can bring glory to your creator per time.

 Keep the sanctity of your spirit, soul and body so you can be a vessel of honor to the living God on this Eternal High way.

Have a safe landing on the eternal shores of this glorious eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ!
