Let the king of glory come in.

Hi friends,
As a young girl growing up in an orthodox church in Nigeria, West Africa, we placed so much value on recitation of Psalms. We esteemed some Psalms more than others because we believed they were better spiritual weapons.

Now as a matured christian and minister of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, I know better but we cannot relegate the place of Psalms in prayers.
I will enjoin my dear friends to endeavor to meditate on this Psalms because of its spiritual significance.
It is Psalms 24:1-7 and will encourage to recite it with me meditatively

  The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they
hat dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established
 it upon the floods.Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who
shall stand in his holy place?He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart;
who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He
shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from
the God of his salvation.This is the generation of them that seek
him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
 and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty
in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up,
ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this
 King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

 May Jehovah Saboath hear us, send us help from Zion and may His holy name defend us in the days of battle.
God bless you real good!

Your friend and fellow Pilgrim in the Kingdom Race,
Pastor Janet
