Hi friends,
We thank God for another day of
life, good health and glory in the land of the living and in this Christian
walk with the Lord.
We cannot but remind ourselves
about the mandate that the God of heaven has placed on us as His children and
ambassadors here on earth. It is an injunction that makes us to prioritize our
lives accordingly and it did command us thus:
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33
For every true and genuine (there
are a lot of fake and hypocritical Christians everywhere) pilgrim, there is a
possibility of us getting distracted as we journey along the way.
Life itself is full of distractions
and vanities that any little carelessness can derail the Christian with a
purpose. To caution us against these distractions, Jesus commanded us to seek first
His kingdom and His righteousness.
Seeking His kingdom and
righteousness entails so much more than you could sit down to plan and execute
but you must learn the secret of absolute dependence on His spirit to guide and
lead us.
The Spirit of the living God
continually unravels the things of God’s kingdom to us day by day as we build a
strong and intimate relationship with Him. Little wonder the bible calls Him
the revealer of truth and mysteries.
To seek God’s kingdom goes beyond
church activities, running from one man of God to another and visiting one
mountain or the other for miracles. It is far beyond all of these. It is about
a conscious and deliberate effort in following the footsteps of our Lord Jesus
Christ in every way and every sphere of life.
Beloved, if there is any time we
need to seek God’s kingdom in our lives it is now because of the perils of this
end time. So many Christians and minister have lost focus and run after mundane
things than seeking the Kingdom of God.
I will encourage you to read my
book titled “The Kingdom of God” for more exposition on The Kingdom of God.
God bless you richly and bear us up
on eagle’s wings as we seek His kingdom daily. I pray that we would not miss
our way to our eternal home.
Your friend and fellow pilgrim in
the Kingdom Race,
Pastor Janet
