Dominion Mandate I

Hi friends,

For us not to understand our proper position in creation will be nothing but share ignorance as we journey in this race therefore we will be reminding ourselves about our God given mandate which is dominion.

The issue of dominion is a must for mankind especially the believer. When  a man is not able to dominate God’s other creation as intended by God the creator Himself it tends to undermine the intent of God when  He created man.

Genesis 1:26-27, gives us an insight into the in house discussion, the Trinity had before man was created. It says;

And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness;

 and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over

 the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth,

 and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in His own image. In the image of God

 created he him; male and female created he them. 

If God had that in His mind, that the man He made should seek to control God’s creation is not out of place at all. That every believer should be empowered to take charge and dominate is in order.

To enable man dominate God Almighty gave him a higher intellectual ability. He established an unending fellowship with him. He created him in His own image and likeness. He is the only one of God’s creation that was not called to being but made by the Almighty’s fingers!

Man is the only one of Elohim's creation whom God created in His image and had the breathe of God breathed into him. In essence God is proving to His other creatures that this particular one is a superior creature.

God made a perfect and painful sacrifice when He sacrificed Himself at the cross to restore man back to himself. He was simply saying there is a part of me in this creature that I cannot afford to loose.

In creation, God never saw any reason to rest nor found satisfaction until after He created man. Are we not so blessed that we are God’s own image?

With this understanding I will admonish you my beloved pilgrim to pick up your dominion mandate and begin to walk in your divine destiny as we journey heavenward.

Stay blessed and dominate in Christ who is your source of dominion until we meet Christ in glory!
