the name of the Lord

Hi friends,

Sometimes the journey of life particularly the Christian race might seem to become risky and difficult with endless challenges and attacks from the enemy of our soul that we feel like throwing in the towel but that is when you need to press on harder.

Always remember this, that Jesus did not promise us a smooth sail all the way but He did promise us a safe landing if we understand the secret of absolute trust in the Lord of the way!

The word of God in Proverbs 18:10 says something we should remember always;

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it,

 and is safe.

Too many times I have received favors and helps from unexpected sources because I had mentioned the name of my earthly father to some of the people he did affect positively while he was alive.

If the name of a mortal man could be a source of help, how much more the precious name of Jesus? The name that is above every other name. The Bible said at the mention of His name every knee should bow of things in heaven and things on earth and every tongue confess that this our Jesus Christ is Lord.

How could you my beloved friend, have such a powerful weapon at your disposal yet you have become an easy prey to the devil and his cohorts? How could you have so much of Heaven’s resources at your beckoning yet you live like a pauper?

You are too defended to be a victim of the enemy’s trap. You are too equipped to  be a victim of life’s situation and circumstances. You are too blessed to live a cursed and oppressed life. You are too guided and protected to become a prey.

Why not rise up this beautiful cool summer morning and call upon the name of Jesus for safety from your numerous battles and opposition? Why not cry out to the only one who is ever willing and attentive to hear the cry of His righteous children for help?

Towers are built for safety and a display of affluence. Why not allow Jesus display His all round sufficiency in your life? Why not just allow Him who is more than the conqueror fight your battles while you just wallow in the victory and spoil He will bring to you?

All you need for your safe landing is absolute trust in the Lord God Almighty and you are safe and secured all through your life’s journey.

Stay blessed, victorious and rapturable till we meet at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.
