Hi Friends,
Jehovah God in His infinite mercies has given us life and
health to see another beautiful day in this Christian Pilgrimage and all that I
can say to Him is Thank You Jesus!
As we journey heavenward, I will like to bring our attention
to the issue of our foundation and the surest foundation we could ever have for
our life and Christian walk.
The Foundation as defined by the Oxford dictionary is the
principle or basis upon which an idea is built.
2Timothy 2:19 says
The foundation of the Lord stands
sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth those that are His; and let everyone
that nameth the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.
Beloved of the Lord, what is the foundation
of your faith in Christ? What are your working principles on this pilgrimage?
What informs your daily living and decision taking?
If you leave Jesus out of it, it simply means that He is not
the foundation of that area of your life and whatever be that other foundation
you are working with is a shaky and unstable one.
An individual’s foundation determines how well and how far he
/she will go in life. Too many times humans go through lives battles they
cannot explain its source. May I counsel you, dear friend, re-examine your
foundation.
May be as you are reading , the Holy Spirit is revealing your
faulty foundation to you, it is never too late. Hand that faulty foundation
over to the Lord Jesus who said
No other foundation can be laid than that which is already
laid which is Christ Jesus.
He can destroy the faulty foundation and build a sure foundation
for you in Himself and by Himself. Talk to Jesus in prayer because He is never
tired of hearing your prayers. Report to Him those situation and circumstances
that does not befit you as a Christian Pilgrim and you can be sure He will
repair it.
Your case is not beyond change. Your foundation is not beyond
rebuilding. The foundation of your life’s challenges are not beyond relaying,
if only you will call on Jesus today.
May be you are yet to accept Jesus genuinely before you set
out for this pilgrimage, you need to get back to the cross.
Maybe along the way
you have backslidden, you need to come back home. Jesus is waiting with open
and outstretched arms. He is the repairer of broken walls.
Talk to Him sincerely and He will grant you the needed
change. God bless you friends as you make up with the lover of your soul!
Your Friend and companion in the Kingdom Race,
Pastor Janet.
