Hi friends, let's share this joke as we journey today:
Very , very long time ago,two young men living in a very remote village somewhere in Africa became very curious about a popular saying they are used to hearing around their neihgborhood. They set out to satisfy their curiosity by travelling to another country to locate this HEAVENLY KINGDOM they have heard so much about.
On this fateful day they secretly left the village for fear of being stopped by their parents. They traveled so far away from their neighborhood in search of HEAVENLY KINGDOM until they got to another far country they believed should be HEAVEN because the people they saw where so good looking and everywhere seemed clean and shinning that it must be HEAVEN they thought.
They tried to make inquiries but could not communicate. They had no food nor provisions and were ravenously hungry with no money to buy and nothing to sell. In an attempt to locate the King's palace they ran into trouble since there was no palace in the first instance. After several days of fruitless search, they came across this elderly kind hearted looking woman and approached her. They began to make motions in an attempt to ask about the HEAVENLY KINGDOM they are desperately looking for. she smiled at them and spoke to them in their own language HEAVEN IS A PREPARED PLACE FOR A PREPARED PEOPLE!
food for thought! We will continue tomorrow as Jesus tarries.
YOURS IN THE KINGDOM JOURNEY,
Pastor Janet.
